| About Maui Skimmers |
| "Maui Skimmers" has been manufacturer skimboards in Hawaii since 1986. We offer the most high tech, radical new approach to skimboard designs available today. "Maui Skimmers" came about by noticing a need for a more high performance, functional product. Disappointed with the way other boards performed, we began incorporating theories of moderm surfboard designs intop our skimboards. The result is a board that is longer, narrower and thicker than the more traditional flat, wide skimboards that are currently on the market. Therefore, "Maui Skimboards" more closely resmbles small surfboards than skimboards, truly a major breakthropugh in skimboard technology. |
| "Maui Skimmers" are workable in any size shorebreak and have been proven functional with riders placing in every final of every contest held in Hawaii to date. Beginners as well as advanced riders find our boards easy to ride and responsive in all conditions. |
